The exhibition is organized by “Cosmos of Culture”, Cultural Organization in co-operation with the art groups ANASA and Tricksters, during the 5th Festival of Contemparary Stage organized by the Theater Entropia.
The subject of the 5th Festival is “employment”.

Ground Flight Dance Performance

The dancing group Anasa presents traditional African dances, accompanied with live percussions. Emphasis is given in choreographies that include patterns, which spring from the basic circle of rural work (seeding - harvest) as these are met in the West African societies. The performance will be presented in the openings of the exhibition together with a projection of a video and informative material.

Documentary Artwork

The group (Performance Art) Tricksters using various material as tools, speaks about the history of Employment. A theatrical suit and a video performance recount certain extracts from the space
and time of the history of employment and collide with ignorance.

Space: Textiles become the means (place) were the tendencies of a period are expressed when the aristocracy was brought down and the urban and working class rose for the first time.
Time: The chronologies that were engraved indelibly in employments course through its coiling, acquiring the form that it has today.

On Saturday the 4th of November at 20.00 in Cosmos of Culture we will have a presentation of African rhythms (kuku, yankandi, djole and more) with percussions from Michael Afolayan (musician, actor, performer) and Nikos Polichronidis, Paraskevi Kappa and others.
An African music party will follow.
